GlowPicks is a personal publication operated by Ilay Asayag. It posts
AI-drafted, human-approved beauty product roundups to a small set of
channels we own. This privacy policy explains exactly what data is
involved.
1. Data we collect from end users
None.
- This site uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no
third-party scripts.
- We do not run an account system, contact form, comment system, or
newsletter on this site.
- We do not collect personal data from readers of our Telegram channel,
Pinterest pins, or any other surface.

2. Data we access through third-party APIs
GlowPicks integrates with several third-party APIs to source product
information and publish posts to channels we own. The integrations are
read/write only on accounts the operator personally owns and authorises.

Pinterest API: we use the Pinterest API to create pins
on boards owned by the connected operator account, and to read pin and
board metadata and analytics for those same boards. We do not request,
access, or store data about other Pinterest users, their boards, their
pins, or their analytics.

Telegram Bot API: the bot posts messages to channels
where the operator has explicitly added the bot as an administrator. The
bot does not read messages from other channels or from users.

Amazon Associates / Product Advertising API: we
generate affiliate links and read public product information (title,
price, image, rating). The Associates program does not give us access
to customer data.

Pexels and Pixabay APIs: we download royalty-free stock
imagery for use in pin and post composition, with attribution where
required.

LLM providers (Groq, Anthropic, Google): draft post
text is generated from public product metadata. No reader-identifying
data is sent to LLM providers.
3. Affiliate relationship disclosure
GlowPicks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
This disclosure also appears on every individual post we publish, so a
reader does not have to visit this page to see it.
4. Data retention
We retain only the operational data required to run the publishing
pipeline: drafts, approval state, and post-level click and impression
counts returned by the channels we own. None of this is tied to an
identifiable end user. Records older than 24 months are deleted unless
retention is required by law.
5. Children
GlowPicks is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly
collect data from children.
6. Changes to this policy
Material changes to this policy will be reflected by updating the date at
the top of this page.
